Brad Kvanbek has spent most of his adult life in construction, from swinging a hammer to running a construction company. Brad had spent the last 17 years as a construction consultant first employed by, then owning Northwest Property Adjusting. Brad and his co-workers helped insurance companies, engineers, attorneys, etc. with their construction related problems and concerns. In 2004 Brad started ICF Construction LLC using insulated concrete form construction.

In 1990 Mr. Kvanbek went to work at Northwest Property Adjusting, inspecting construction related insurance claims, assessing risks on commercial and residential buildings for Minnesota and Wisconsin insurers. The company specialized in large, complicated losses and preparing the evidence for possible litigation. They worked for dozens of insurance companies from Allstate and American Family to West Bend and Western National.

In a few years Brad became a partner with the added responsibilities of customer relations and employee management. Northwest Property Adjusting, due to demand, diversified into consulting for; engineers, lawyers realtors, homeowners and property owners.

In 2004 Brad Kvanbek left Northwest Property Adjusting and started ICF Construction LLC and The Decorative Concrete Company. ICF Construction LLC specializes in the use of insulated concrete forms (ICFs) in the construction of structural walls, floors and roofs. This building method solves many of the problems that Brad has investigated over the years including catastrophe damage and mold.

When he isn’t on a jobsite working with the crew Brad Kvanbek works on marketing and developing better construction methods, as he continues his construction consulting and diagnosing problems with existing structures. Brad has been used as an expert witness in numerous appraises and trials. He has also had good success when asked to assume power-of-attorney in conciliation court litigation.
